![]() ![]() The destruction of tanks and buildings give the game a battlefield sec vibe where enemies behind cover will be fine against rifle fire but buy a 40mm flak cannon and watch them explode and buildings crumble. The integration of the system is so well made and is just so fun to play around with. Machine gunner needs replacing but can’t afford one? Get that rifleman and give him an upgrade by just stealing the last soldiers gun and ammo. ![]() Tank is stranded but still have the crew? Take the turret off the tank and make a super solider who runs around with a 50 cal. The mechanics of each solider having their own inventory on the battlefield in which they are able to pick up various weapons, explosives, fortifications and other is such a smart and detailed system. The ability for one soldier to turn the entire tide of the game with a well played button press. Heroically this solider controlled with my own two hands fired his rocket directly at the engine of the quickly approaching soviet tank and disabled it with a quick blast thus holding the advance of the enemy and winning us the game. A rogue AT solider, prone, in a bush from when I first hid him. With no armour and AT capability we would lose the point thus losing the game. As our score approached the 100 mark a soviet t-34 57 crossed the hill on which we fought heading directly for the capture point. We only had a variety of mix mash men from various past squads and remnants of tanks and vehicles that once were. ![]() We had only recently taken the capture points and not without our losses. The points were 95/100 to the oppositions 93/100 on control zones. My first game I remember my most recent game fondly. I remember waking up on Sunday morning joining my mate who was studying abroad in Singapore with my other mates still in the UK and throwing down in a 4v4 match to whoever would have fought us. I’ve been playing men of war specifically AS2 for around 5 years now very occasionally with the same group of friends. ![]()
